At Ithaca Tompkins International Airport (ITH), we’re excited to share some news with our community. Thanks to the efforts of Senator Schumer and Senator Gillibrand, ITH has been awarded $1,500,000. This funding marks a pivotal step in enhancing our airport’s capabilities and safety standards.

The grant will be directed towards constructing a new joint-use Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting/Snow Removal Equipment building. The new ARF building is designed to house our emergency response and snow removal vehicles adequately.
