While ITH is not a full service TSA PreCheck airport, TSA PreCheck passengers flying out of ITH will still enjoy some of the benefits at ITH. You can keep your shoes on as well as lightweight jackets. You can also keep liquids and electronics in your bag.

Pets are allowed at ITH, but each airline has its own policy regarding pet travel.

A new pet relief room has been added, during our 2019 renovation, to the secure side of our airport for travelers to take their pets before or after flights, complete with green turf and a red fire hydrant.

Beginning May 7, 2025, every traveler must present a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, state-issued enhanced driver’s license, or other acceptable forms of identification, such as a valid passport or U.S. military ID, to fly within the U.S. Review the complete list of acceptable identification.

ITH is a LAANC-enabled airport. We do recommend that if you have the ability to come and speak with an airline representative here at the airport they are best equipped to help you by checking their secured baggage area, they are not staffed as often as we would like, but if you come around the arrival or departure of one of their flights you can find staff here to assist you.
