Temporary Changes to Delta’s Detroit Schedule at ITH

The Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport is experiencing temporary changes to our Delta flights. Starting this October, Delta’s early morning flight from Ithaca to Detroit, and late night flight from Detroit to Ithaca have both been removed from the schedule. Ithaca Airport Director Mike Hall says, “We are working closely with Delta to encourage the resumption of full services at the earliest opportunity.”

Skywest Airlines, which operates Delta Connection’s regional flights for Ithaca, will be keeping these flights at their Detroit maintenance base in order to perform additional maintenance to ensure optimum safety, reliability, and speed.

Those customers affected by this change will be contacted by the Ithaca Airport in the near future with rebooking options. Although this change will make traveling to and from Detroit faster, safer, and easier in the future, the Ithaca airport apologizes for any inconvenience at this time.

If you are affected by these changes, please contact Delta Airlines at Ithaca Airport to find out more information.
