Are you ready for the new Weekly Service between Ithaca and Charlotte?

Flights between Ithaca and Charlotte starting Saturday, December 22

We are happy to announce that a weekly non-stop service between Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport and the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) in Charlotte, NC will begin next month!

We are excited to be able to bring this new service to our region and make it easier for our community to get where they need to go. Starting on Saturday, December 22, this weekly non-stop route will depart from Ithaca mid-morning and arrive in Charlotte after approximately two hours in air. Alternatively, the return flight to Ithaca takes off from Charlotte around 9 am, dropping passengers off in Ithaca before noon. Not only will this new service expand the number of one-stop travel destinations for business and leisure travelers alike, this route will also provide easier and faster access to the South, South America, and the Caribbean. Can you picture yourself exploring historical landmarks like Machu Picchu, or enjoying authentic Southern barbecue, or soaking up the sun on a white, sandy beach on an island?

Our goal is to ultimately have more flights added to this route to provide more frequent service between Ithaca and Charlotte. In the meantime, Charlotte provides daily one-stop flights back to Ithaca, that connect to each of our hubs in Detroit, D.C., and Philadelphia. To book your flight to Charlotte, visit the American Airlines website today~

We hope that you are excited for all the changes coming to your favorite regional airport.

Thank you for flying with us!
